DESTINATION WEDDING WEEKEND EXPERIENCE ITINERARY:
FRIDAY 4/17/26
Check-in, grab a welcome bag, and enjoy a signature cocktail (or mocktail) and appetizers! Later, we’ll go on a guide hike around the property, featuring some special furry guests. 🦙 After, we’ll enjoy dinner and a Welcome Party where we gather around the fire and listen to live music.
SATURDAY 4/18/26
We’ll start the day with a Continental Breakfast, then we’ll head out on a guideed walk hosted by land manager Conserving Carolina to learn about Deerwoode Reserve’s conservation easement, with a behind-the-scenes look at how healthy floodplains are restored, and see work in progress during our river restoration and musky slough project.
After lunch is the WNC Spring Wedding Showcase, where guests will get to explore what their special day could really look like at Deerwoode Reserve. Visit
Visit Wedding Vendor Booths, tour the event center, and visit ceremony sites including Chapel in the Trees, Lakeside Arbor, and the Garden…all styled beautifully. Check out the Deerwoode booth for available 2026 & 2027 event dates & incentives for booking.
Next up: Waterfall & Backroads Jeep Tour! You’ll get to see the best of what this area has to offer: waterfalls, off-the-beaten path roads, and a stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from 5,000 feet above sea level. Includes a one mile round trip leisure walk to a hidden waterfall.
We’ll end the day with dinner and an after party!

We’ll say farewell with brunch, and check out is at 10 a.m.

The Destination Weekend Wedding Experience includes:
