Join us for Deerwoode Family Day! Enjoy the outdoors with family this Mother’s Day Weekend!
We’re opening up Deerwoode Reserve’s 175 acre property to the public to offer some time for relaxation & little adventure.
*10 AM* ~ Family-Friendly YOGA by the lake, with instructor Clare Eleazer Desmelik, bring yoga mat & water
(Fee = suggested donation $10/adults, $5/kids)
EXPLORE BY LAND:
- Meander through the Nature Trails
- Hike to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain
- Meditate in the Bamboo Forest
- Relax in the Hammocks
- Tour Cabins
- Bring a Picnic Lunch
WATER ACTIVITIES:
- Splash in the Swimming Hole, fresh spring-fed water
- Paddle the Lake in our kayaks, canoes or paddle boat
- Fish the ponds, bring your own rod & gear (catch & release)
*Children must be supervised/no lifeguards on duty
You’re welcome to bring a cooler with food & drinks, blanket or chairs, fishing gear, towels and we’re pet-friendly, so your doggie can join you too!
