Alec and Ben’s June wedding weekend at Deerwoode Reserve was a joyful, full-property celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends. With the entire reserve reserved for the weekend, guests were able to settle into the cabins, explore the trails, enjoy the swimming hole, and experience the magic of Deerwoode beyond the wedding day itself.
Their celebration brought together natural beauty with thoughtful details, beautiful florals, incredible food and drinks, and a spacious reception inside the Mayes Event Center. From the Bride: “We got married at Deerwoode Reserve in June 2025 and it was nothing short of magical. We had a large wedding and rented the entire reserve for the weekend, our closest family and friends stayed on the reserve. The event center is incredible, absolutely perfect for any big event. Dionne and Scott put a lot of thought and love into that space and it shows. All of the cabins are lovely and our friends and family were blown away by everything on the reserve from the swimming hole to the walking trails. We felt taken care of from the first day we arrived. Dionne and Scott were always available for questions and even helped find additional vendors for us for various things we needed throughout the weekend. Deerwoode is a special place and we feel incredibly lucky to have been able to celebrate this moment of our lives there.”
